CB-2
A machine for making a cardboard sleeve from 2 cardboard strips by gluing them together.
Price:
$4 900
Purpose
Designed for making cardboard sleeves from 2 cardboard strips by gluing them together. After filling the cardboard strips, the machine operates automatically. The length of the produced sleeve is adjusted by a sensor mounted on a movable frame. The bushing is cut to the required length using a pneumatically driven disc. At the moment when the finished sleeve has reached the required length, the machine stops, the cutting unit is raised by a pneumatic cylinder (Fig. 4), cutting occurs and winding of the sleeve continues.
This machine is recommended in all cases for the production of toilet paper and paper towels, with the exception of the production of professional products on the PM-6 machine. This is due to the fact that the cut is not as perfectly smooth as on the CB-7 machine. In all other cases, the cut does not matter due to the fact that at the stage of cutting the finished logs, their edges will be trimmed (1-1.5 cm). In an eight-hour working day, the machine provides production with a supply of bushings for a week.
The most common raw material used is cardboard 70-75 mm wide. The thickness of the cardboard depends on the need for the final product. The adhesives used are dispersive, such as: “Dextrin” or Adhesin A2106.
